CLICS
As an important part of "Patron-Initiated Document
Delivery Services," CUNY has implemented a new library service, CLICS
[CUNY Libraries Inter- Campus Services, or CUNY Intra Campus Library Service],
through which one can place a book request at any CUNY libraries, with the
exception of her/his home library, via CUNY's online catalog <http://libraries.cuny.edu/>. The book will be sent to
York College Library and we will hold it for 10 days after its arrival for you
to check out. This is in addition to our traditional Interlibrary Loan service,
which also covers libraries outside CUNY system. For more information and
procedure about CLICS, click
here.
Note:
Circulation
and overdue fine policies of the lending library apply.
Unblocked
library account required.
Valid
email address required.
York’s
loan limit is still seven (7) books per person, thus, do not place too many
hold requests through CLICS.
Your
CLICS book will be held at circulation for ten (10) days after its arrival. It
will be returned to the lending library after that period.
York
students/faculty/staff cannot request CLICS service for York’s own collection.
